The general sororities conduct a formal recruitment annually in September!
Registration is required along with a $40 fee ($50 for registrations received after 11:59pm on September 2). Panhellenic recruitment is a mutual selection process. During the first round, potential new members visit all 8 of the Panhellenic sororities. After each round, the potential new members rank the chapters in which they are most interested and the chapters submit lists of women whom they'd like to invite back to the next round. Potential new members visit a maximum of 7 chapters in the second round, 5 in the third round, and 3 in the final round, after which the chapters and potential new members submit their final preference lists. To avoid conflicts with most classes, recruitment events are held in the evenings and on weekend days.
Panhellenic Recruitment Events
Wednesday, September 5th - Monday, September 10th. Full availability is required during these dates and times:
- Wednesday, September 5th in the evening.
- Thursday, September 6th in the evening.
- Friday, September 7th all day.
- Saturday, September 8th all day.
- Sunday, September 9th all day.
- Monday, September 10th Bids issued from 1:00 p.m. - 4:45 p.m. and Chapter activities start at 4:00 p.m.
